ABOUT US

Executives at AshMed, who have been working in the medical industry since 1998, decided to start producing sutures in 2018 by drawing on their expertise and know-how in orthopedic implants, which they sell and offer technical assistance for. They established ASH Group, the country's sole and original suture producer brand. By investing in R&D activities with its own capital till 2020, there is a setup for a controlled hygienic space and the manufacturing capacity had been increased.

UHMWPE SUTURE

UHMWPE Suture is a nonabsorbable, sterile, surgical suture composed of Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE), or a polyblend of UHMWPE and polyester. It is prepared from fibers of high-molecular weight, long-chain linear having recurrent aromatic rings as an integral component. The sutures with or without attached needles meet FDA requirements for exempt color additives for UHMWPE sutures. The product is available in several suture lengths and attached needle types. Diamond®sutures UHMWPE Suture meets all requirements established by the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) for Nonabsorbable Surgical Sutures.

Our UHMWPE Sutures can be delivered as cut to length or on reels as requested by our customers.
